BUTTE, MT  |  COPPER KING CONVENTION CENTER
FRIDAY, APRIL 17 - SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2026

The Radiant Women’s Retreat is a weekend free of responsibilities created just for foster, kinship and adoptive moms. Come find rest. Find fun. Find freedom.

Take heart.

“I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”
John 16:33 (MSG)
This journey is heavy — but you don’t carry it alone. Whether you’re in the thick of parenting or standing in the ache of waiting, take heart — the One who overcame the world holds your story, your children and you. Radiant is your space to exhale, be seen, and be renewed. Register today!

    Weekend Features

    • Morning
      Sweat Sesh

What mom has time to go to the gym these days, and yet how many of us still feel the need to move? Exercise is good for our bodies and our mindset, aiding in our ability to think critically and remain calm in times of stress. Get ready to feel great in your skin in this energetic, fun-filled high intensity training workout!

    • Heart to Heart
      Prayer Time

Step into a quiet, sacred space where you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether you need prayer for a specific burden, a breakthrough, or simply a moment to be still, our Prayer and Foster Parent Coach teams are here to listen and lift you up. And if you’re not ready to share, this is a great time to sit with the Lord and journal.

    • Worship
      Time

Back by popular demand this year, Jess McDonald brings a down-to-earth energy and a heart for God to lead us in a time of joyous worship. Experience the replenishing power of music and fellowship as we lift our voices to the One who hears. Our prayer team will also be close by and ready to receive you if you need prayer.

    • Welcome/House
      Competition

Kick off the weekend with a little healthy competition between regions. These laughter-inducing, mom-themed minute-to-win-it games will include a stroller obstacle course, teen-speak word scramble and more. Whether you choose to compete or cheer on your house, you won’t want to miss the chance to win the House Cup.

    • House
      Time

No one should have to walk the parenting journey alone. This is your chance to meet your people, other moms from your area who understand the struggle. Come connect with the women who will meet you for coffee or cry with you on your couch. Because they’ve been there too, and they get it.

        Breakout Topics

Get ready for a day full of whatever refreshes you. This year, we’ve divided our breakouts into four categories to help you choose the sessions that will best fill your cup. There will be two sessions in each category offered during both breakout times on Saturday.

The full list of breakout topics is coming soon!

On average, one in six children struggle to process certain sensory information. Sensitivities to specific smells, sounds or textures can lead to big behaviors. But understanding your child’s sensory needs can help you avoid related meltdowns. Join us to learn practical ways to make your home a sensory-safe zone.

Unwind with our fun, minimalistic wreath-making activity. This is a free time of casual creativity — make a holiday-themed wreath or match your dream home aesthetic. Whichever you choose, come laugh and create something beautiful to take home with you.

Jesus and his disciples practiced self-care, taking time and space to fill their cups with God’s love in order to pour it back into His people. Jesus laid out the steps for godly self-care. Learn the discipline of “soul care” from the ultimate role model so that you can pour into the children God has entrusted to you.

Time out! Do you find yourself replaying lost opportunities to connect with your kids in your mind? The whiplash of your child’s demands for attention followed by sudden rage can sometimes result in some unplanned reactions on our part. This is the break you’ve been looking for, a chance to learn and rehearse ways to connect in those moments in a fun, interactive and judgment-free environment.

Your toolbox is full of tools to help calm your kids, but how do you refill your own tank and rekindle your joy? Foster moms often get stuck in overdrive – rapidly switching gears between fired up, melting down and exhausted. Let’s take a moment to breathe. Come learn simple, practical ways to care for your body, spirit and mind moment by moment so you can continue to run the race before you.

This interactive breakout will cover the different types of grief a foster/adoptive mom may experience. We’ll learn coping strategies and provide encouragement for the grieving mom’s heart through written exercises. Come ready to be uplifted as you learn the art of lament, a God-given spiritual discipline for dealing with the painful messiness of the work into which God has invited us.

How would you tell your story — the whole story? What wounds and blessings lie hidden or forgotten in each chapter? In this explorative craft, you’ll create a visual garden that represents the different stages of your personal life story — no green thumb or artistic experience necessary.
