The Bridge Builder Society is a community of givers who are making a family for every child a part of their lasting legacy. By planning for your future, you can also ensure that foster and adoptive families will be available to care for hurting children even after you're gone.

Your legacy can change a child's future

When you join the Bridge Builder Society, you are answering God's call to defend the powerless. With just a little planning, a legacy commitment is an investment in empowering foster families with the training, resources and tools needed to care for a child who has suffered abuse and neglect.

What is a legacy Gift?

All we have comes from the Lord, and as we plan to give generously with an end-of-life gift, we honor Him with the gifts and resources he has provided.

For many, a gift in your will or trust or a beneficiary designation will be the largest financial gift you are ever able to make. You’ll be impacting future generations!

Certain gift options have tax benefits that allow you to give more to your family and to kingdom work.

Beneficiary Gifts through Retirement Accounts

Naming Child Bridge as a beneficiary is a simple and powerful way to support the life changing work of our organization without updating your will. Contact your plan administrator or financial institution for a change of beneficiary form.

On the beneficiary form, decide what percentage (up to 100%) you would like  to donate to this work.

Bank Accounts, Investment Accounts, CDs

You can leave a legacy by naming Child Bridge as a Payable-on-Death (POD) or Transfer-on-Death (TOD) beneficiary for any percentage up to 100%. Contact your financial institution for a change of  beneficiary form. The beneficiary you name has no rights to the funds until after your lifetime. You are free to use the money in the account, change the beneficiary, or close the account as you wish.

Gift of Life Insurance

You can name Child Bridge as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy by submitting an updated beneficiary designation form with the policy holder. You can designate Child Bridge as a primary beneficiary for any percentage up to 100%.

Bridge builder stories

“God broke our hearts for children who suffer abuse and neglect. When we learned that there are not enough families to care for these children in their time of greatest need… well it just really wrecked us.  We’ve been monthly and annual supporters of Child Bridge since the organization began. We’re honored to be a small part of transformation in young lives and the families who step up to care for them.  But the work must go on. We’re excited to know that through our legacy gift we can continue to find and equip foster and adoptive families for hurting children long after we’re gone.”
