Retreat for Foster and Adoptive Moms
October 26-28, 2018
We need each other to do what God has called us to do. You are deeply loved and are called to love deeply!
Our hope is that you leave relaxed, connected and encouraged.
Relax: A kid-free weekend in a 4-season destination resort with meals provided.
Plenty of free time to explore downtown Whitefish and even take a nap if you'd like!
Connect: Come ready to meet other moms just like you, wherever you are on the journey.
Join a small group with other moms.
Connect with others, form new friendships and deepen those you already have.
Be Encouraged: Our main goal is that you are encouraged in the fact that God loves you and is writing your story.

Lisa Qualls : One Thankful Mom
Lisa is the mother of twelve by birth and adoption – six boys and six girls. She lives in north Idaho with her husband Russ and their youngest five (and sometimes more) children. They celebrated their 33rd anniversary by becoming foster parents.
Lisa’s adoption journey has been marked by joy as well as challenges of trauma and attachment. She earnestly believes in the power of Jesus to heal children’s broken hearts and wounded minds. Her life has also been marked by grief following the loss of her daughter, Kalkidan, who went to be with Jesus nearly three years ago.
Lisa believes with all her heart that God is faithful, he is good, and her life is entirely in his hands. You can find her website, One Thankful Mom, at www.onethankfulmom.com
