Jamie is the biological, adoptive, and foster mother of six children. When she's not homeschooling, changing diapers, playing Pokemon, pureeing baby food, and singing Let it Go, she spends her time blogging at Foster the Family and speaking to current and prospective foster parents. Jamie is passionate about inspiring people to get involved in foster care and adoption, as well as encouraging those who are.
Chelsea McKoy - Co-founder
Chelsea married her high school sweetheart, Brian in 2002. They have 6 children aged 1-11, four bio kids, and two daughters they adopted from China.
She enjoys a good dubsmash video, long baths and summers at the lake with her wild bunch. She and her hubby love living in NW Montana, they love serving Jesus together at their local church and weekly date night is their jam.
Amanda Creamer - Co-Founder
When Amanda was 8 years old, she told her mom that she would be adopting babies instead of birthing them. When she was in college, her mom (an L&D nurse) took her to see a c-section and a natural birth. After that traumatic experience her mind was made up. Adoption it was.
In July of 2006 John Mark and Amanda met at a wedding. A few weeks later she told him her non-birthing plan and he agreed. That December they were married.
On March 1, 2009 they adopted their first son, Elias from Ethiopia and on March 1, 2016 they adopted their youngest son, Henry, from foster care. In between they adopted Anna from South Carolina and Quin from China. And now, with four kids 7 and under, they are finished (maybe).
Amanda loves Jesus, Fresh Life Church, wearing all black and kidless nights on the lake with her hubby. Oh, and hanging with adoptive and foster moms.
