With over 3,000 children in Montana’s foster care system … you may wonder if there's any hope of helping these children and the families they come from?
The answer is yes! Just one willing church body ready to Embrace, be Equipped, and Empowered can make a dramatic impact by serving those who are caring for these children in need throughout our state.
While the problem is large and complex, the solution doesn't have to be. When local churches, ministries and individuals partner with Child Bridge to answer the call, together we can change a child's life and impact the next generation.
We work with churches at a variety of desired levels of involvement...from simply sharing about the need and lobby displays, to a full sermon message from the pulpit, family recruiting, and working with ministries within the church to create a foster and adoptive centric and trauma informed culture.
Why is the Church the best model to help solve the foster and adoptive child welfare crisis in the state? Why do we seek your church’s partnership?
- The church body has been called to care for the broken, the needy, the orphan, those who have experienced trauma in their life.
- The church is called to be a place of healing, a place to find happiness, a place to find support and help through the hard times.
- “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners (enemies, broken, hurting, abandoned), Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
